Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able to act, direct production, create plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her work at play rehearsals. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, to further her acting career. She eventually settled down in Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in 2009. Anna was just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted by CNN's top TV Couples ever, and was named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased due to the popularity of her TV show.
