Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz who was birthed in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her in honor of her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had an ethnically Jewish origin. Ryder is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her younger brother is Uria. When Ryder was only seven her family moved into Mendocino County California. The family didn't have electricity. There was no television books were Ryder's only distraction to spend the time and she was a voracious reader. Ryder aged 12 was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was let go in 1986. Ryder, who was barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actress. Ryder suffered bullying in her high school. She hoped acting could bring change. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. However, she continued to pursue her ambitions. Ryder made her breakthrough through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988. Ryder continued to play successful roles in various films. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
